Château Sociando-Mallet 2017 -STOCKTAKE- pineau-d-aunis Pinot Grigio of the YearChteau Sociando Mallet may claim not to be "neither classified nor bourgeois", but it is still considered one of the best wines of the Haut Mdoc appellation. Its vineyard extends over an impressive area of 85 hectares composed of gravelly soil on a clay limestone subsoil where vines of Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (40%) and Cabernet Franc (5%) are planted. The wines of the estate benefit from a traditional maturing period of 12 months in new
