This plant is quite tender so does not really like frost although we do get mild frosts here it seems to survive them but further south you would need protection

We plant our plants in a mixture of 75% gravel 25% soil in a north facing position and they certainly seem to thrive

They make a wonderful show from late winter into spring

Their bright and fresh green foliage set off all the colours. It pushes out new growth in the spring which has a golden hue to it. Prefers a sunny spot away from the wind, so their foliage stays pristine. Grows to over 3 meters eventually, but stays columnar in width. Pot size: 5 litres
