Vintage Yugoslavian M59 and M59/85 Steel Helmet Model:M59 and comfortable — designed asOriginal Yugoslavian M59 and M59 85 steel helmets. This was the standard combat helmet of the Yugoslav People's Army from the 1960's to the 1990's. The internal suspension system on both models is similar. But in 1985 the suspension was upgraded to a simpler, more durable, and easier to maintain design. The 2 types are identified in the photos. These helmets saw use during the Bosnian War, conflict in Kosovo, and later in Serbia. Therefore, you may
